Wings Over Flagler (WOF) is held annually at the Flagler County Airport in beautiful Palm Coast, FL and is produced by Blue Sky Yakrobatics, Flagler County Airport and Mills Aviation Charities.

Our 2012 Event will be dedicated to celebrating the life of William "Wild Bill" Walker and will be held March 24-25th, 2012.

About Us

The Annual Wings Over Flagler Event is a joint effort between The Flagler County Airport and local Warbird Enthusiast Bill Mills of Blue Sky Yakrobatics. The idea for WOF started from a casual conversation, the countys desire to host an Airshow, and the passion of Blue Sky Yakrobatics to bring aviation to a larger audience. The success of our first event lead to the development of Mills Aviation Charities, Inc. (MAC) a Non-Profit Corporation dedicated to raising aviation awareness, preserving aviation history, educating, and providing teens with the opportunity to follow their aviation dreams. This is going to be a great partnership for the community.

Our 2nd Annual Event brought us a devastating tragedy and loss of a friend and fellow aviator Bill Walker, which lead to the re-dedication of our scholarship to be the Wings Over Flagler William "Wild Bill" Walker Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship program is dedicated to celebrating Wild Bill's life and keeping his memory alive. "He wasn't just a great pilot in the air; he was truly a great pilot in life. He was a man who possessed "the right stuff". (Eric Walker)

Vendors

We are currently seeking Food and Merchandise Vendors for Wings Over Flagler 2012 to support one of the most exciting events in Flagler County! Since space is limited, we will only have a limited number of approved vendors and each category is exclusive. Variety of food and merchandise will be very important in the selection process.

Applications are now available and Application Deadline is February 15, 2012. We only allow one of each category type - so apply early to reserve your spot!

Due to limited complimentary hotel rooms we will be confirming attendance based on aircraft uniqueness. Registration is a MUST!

Contact us today! Once an aircraft type is full we will have discount accommodations for those wishing to experience Wings Over Flagler.

General Aviation aircraft owners and pilots are advised to contact the FBO in advance as there will be a TFR in place on during the show from 11am to 4pm both Saturday and Sunday. As official guests, pilots and crew of approved aircraft will be enjoy free entry to the public display area. Aircraft parking near the public area is limited so registration is advised. Overflow and unregistered aircraft arrivals will be directed to remote parking areas away from the public display area. Appropriate NOTAMs will be released in advance so pilots are advised to check entry procedures carefully.
